Hybridmesh ® semi-absorbable mesh
is a partially absorbable prosthesis for the treatment of inguinal hernias.
Hybridmesh is a 25% co-woven net, with quadriaxial technology * , with non-absorbable polypropylene (PP) monofilament, and 75% with absorbable polypropylene (PLLA) monofilament. The prosthesis has a weight of 80 g / m 2 and the polylactic acid filaments give the mesh the right rigidity for an easy and immediate positioning of the prosthesis. After the polylactic acid filaments have been completely absorbed, the residual polypropylene mass is only 20 g / m 2 , leaving a soft, light and comfortable net implanted.
