Rigid and semi-rigid preshaped nets: Hertra ® 1, 2, 2A.
Hertra ® 1, 2, 2A pre-shaped rigid and semi-rigid meshes are used for the repair of inguinal hernias in "open" surgery and are easy and immediate to position as they are equipped with stiffness and shape memory. For this reason, Hertra 1 , 2 and 2A meshes can also be inserted without sutures or other fixation methods and are the original ones for tension-free inguinal hernial repair according to Trabucco , ie without sutures ("sutureless"). The Hertra 1 and 2 meshes are indicated for the repair of male inguinal hernias: the eccentric hole is in an anatomically correct position for the passage of the spermatic cord and the design of the prosthesis is the result of hundreds of measurements of the inguinal canal carried out by Prof. Trabucco. The Hertra 2A mesh is used for female inguinal hernias.

Light preshaped nets: Hertra
Hertra ® 6 and 6A light preshaped meshes are used for the repair of inguinal hernias in "open" surgery. The networks Hertra 6 have a low grammage and the implanted material is found to be minimal. The Hertra 6 mesh is used for the repair of male inguinal hernias; the Hertra 6A mesh is used for the repair of female inguinal hernias.

Pre-shaped nets with quadriaxial weaving: Hertra ® 9, 9A
The networks preformed Hertra ® 9 and Hertra ® 9A are used for the repair of inguinal hernias in open surgery and are woven with quadriaxial technology, process, conceived and developed by Herniamesh that allows to obtain prostheses light but resistant. The Hertra 9 prosthesis is used for the treatment of male inguinal hernia; the network Hertra 9A is used for the female inguinal hernia repair.
