"Sutureless": means that the prosthesis, thanks to its optimum rigidity and memory shape, is positioned without sutures, remaining flat and adhering to the underlying tissue.
"Tension-free": because the absence of stitches avoids implant tension. A sutured mesh may in fact generate an uneven distribution of tension and may wrinkle or make the tissue wrinkle, forming dead spaces which could lead to complications such as seroma, haematoma or even relapse.
