FEATURES OF THE MID-TUBETM DEVICE
- The MID-TUBETM is a sterile silicone gastric calibration tube, which is used in bariatric surgery,to perform obesity surgery procedures for which the use of a gastric calibration tube is necessary (by-gastric pass, sleeve gastrectomy, ...).
- The silicone allows for a good flexibility-rigidity ratio during intubation. It retains its mechanical characteristics throughout the operation.
- The MID-TUBETM is a gastric calibration tube with a diameter of 36 Fr (MID136), 38 Fr (MID130) or 48 Fr (MID131).
- The calibration tube is graded, allowing the tube to be manipulated more accurately. It is also equipped with a contoured distal tip that facilitates intubation.
- This orogastric calibration probe can be connected to a suction system to remove air or liquids from the stomach (sealing test)
